Life Is A Magnificent Beast

Hello! My name is Lauren Adam and I am the younger sister of Tomlinswoon, who introduced me to this wonderful place called tumblr. I am from the great "Eh" country of Canada. This year, I am going into grade nine.

I'm a big bookworm and I love to write stories of my own that I hope, some day far in the future, will be published. Writing is the way I express my self best and in my opinion is the greatest way to escape reality, to far off worlds and places of your own creation where anything can happen if you just want it to.
I also love to draw. I have two sketch books that I am currently filling up with pictures of whatever my mind drags up. It constantly amazes me how you can capture beautiful life with just the simple tools of pencil and paper (and of course eraser), and how you can also create things that weren't yet existing in life at all.

I'm begining to learn that fandoms are kind of like friends in a way, and in saying that my best friends are definitely Harry Potter, Sherlock, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and, of course, Baccano, hence the title of my blog.

And finally, to get to the 'what I believe in part' as it were, I believe in living life to the fullest. Not to the fullest in the sense that you have to have achieve a million things before you die or see the world kind of way (although I would like to see the world). But living it to the fullest by doing what you enjoy, trying to be the best you you can be, by treasuring your friends, and your family. Because in the end a life filled with love is the fullest life anyone can ever have, and afterwards death is just the next great adventure.
